A free account is a logged-in home, not a trial that expires. You can look up company financials (the core five-year picture of revenue, earnings, free cash flow, and ROIC) for up to five large-cap US companies a month, track a portfolio and watchlist by hand in The Watch, keep private notes and a mistake log, use every free valuation calculator, and get the weekly newsletter. What it doesn't include is the AI coach: the Foundation session, the Research Engine, the Block 4 reviews and monitoring alerts, and the Advisory Board are what the paid tiers add. It's the no-cost way to get a feel for the platform before you commit.
Why is Full OS annual only?
Value investing is a long-term practice, and the VI Stack method matches it. Foundation gets reviewed once a year. Block 4 has quarterly and annual position reviews. Monitoring anchors track companies across multiple earnings cycles. A research arc from Gate 1 to a real verdict can take weeks of patience. Annual pricing reflects the rhythm of the work, and frees you from re-deciding your subscription every month while you are thinking on longer horizons.
What is the difference between Templates and Foundation Setup?
Templates is the manual track. You get the Notion workspace and the framework reference cards, and you do the work yourself, no AI involved. Foundation Setup is your first hands-on session with the AI platform. It runs a guided coaching conversation that produces Blocks 1 and 2 written for your situation, then exports the result so you keep it forever. Same artifact format on the surface (Notion + PDF), but the work that produces it is fundamentally different.
What does the 7-day money-back actually cover?
Seven days from purchase, full refund, no questions asked beyond a single guardrail: no more than one terminal Block 3 verdict in that window. Why a guardrail? Because each terminal verdict is a complete piece of research output you keep, and the refund window needs a stop so it stays a real trial rather than a one-week dip-in. One verdict is plenty to take the platform on a serious test drive.
What happens to my data when I cancel?
If you choose not to renew, the platform stays read-only for 30 days. You can export everything you have built (Notion + PDF + raw JSON) and read your past sessions, but cannot start new ones. After the 30 days, the account locks but your data is kept for 12 months in case you want to come back and pick up where you left off. After 12 months, it is auto-anonymised. You can also request immediate deletion at any point under GDPR.
Do the prices include VAT?
Prices are shown excluding VAT. Local VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing country, handled by our payment processor. This is the standard practice for premium digital subscriptions, and it keeps the headline price the same for every visitor regardless of where they live. The total you actually pay is shown before you confirm.
How does the upgrade credit work?
Buying Templates earns $50 toward Full OS if you upgrade within 30 days. Foundation Setup earns $100 on the same terms. Credits stack: a buyer who picks up both then upgrades inside the window saves $150 off the first year. After 30 days the credit expires. The credit is automatic, no code to remember.
When does paid access open?
